The development team behind the apartment project at 100 Forest Avenue is holding a public meeting on Thursday to discuss the proposal. Representatives from DHD Ventures and project designer Passero Associates will be on hand to provide an overview of the proposal, to answer questions, and receive feedback. The Buffalo Planning Board will be considering the project at its January 27 meeting.
‘One Hundred on Forest’ is proposed for 11 acres of the 22 acre property that was once occupied by Bristol-Myers Squibb and later Contract Pharmaceuticals. The proposed development will include 176 suite style units totaling 592 beds. They will be contained in ten, four-story buildings with access into the complex from Forest and West avenues. A clubhouse, pool, and outdoor recreation courts are planned along with nearly 500 parking spaces and minimal landscaping.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 pm Thursday at the Ararese-Matters Community Center, 50 Rees Street.
