For those who have thought about expanding their horizons when it comes to cooking, the International Institute (IIB) hosts a series of cooking classes that revolve around the many different ethnicities that are now found in Buffalo.
The first cooking class will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 6-8:30pm. At that time, the focus will be on Jordanian cuisine, which will feature Shawarama, Baba Ghanoush, Fattoush, and Za’atar bread with feta and parsley. Finding these types of foods around the city is becoming more and more common, but learning how to make them properly is an entirely different story.
Why not try mixing it up a little bit? Maybe it’s time to expand your horizons when it comes to learning how to cook the world’s foods?
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online beginning next week. Classes are limited to 10. Email Brian Brown-Cashdollar (bbc@iibuff.org) to reserve your spot (before tix go on sale) or keep checking this Facebook page for additional information.
Classes will be held at the International Institute of Buffalo | 864 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14209
