This month, the West Side Bazaar will be celebrating Ethiopia with a Christmas festival.
Did you know that most people in Ethiopia celebrate Christmas on January 7th because they follow the Julian calendar? The Christmas festival event will be an opportunity to learn about the culture, cuisine, dance, and dress found in Ethiopia!
Get ready to eat with your hands, and enjoy a colorful buffet of traditional food and drinks prepared by our very own Ethiopian chef Zelalem Gemmeda. The buffet will also include a customary coffee ceremony.
What better way to learn about another country’s culture than chowing down on authentic cuisine?
Every month the West Side Bazaar will be holding cultural events centered around the different nationalities found in both the Bazaar and Buffalo’s West Side.
