What would Buffalo look like if it had more female representatives? I’m talking about public officials that are ultimately the decision makers for what goes down here. It’s a question that is continually asked, but rarely answered. And beyond the question, where is the action?
I’ll tell you where the action is. It’s found in an empowering group known as WomenElect. The group’s WomenElect Program (WEPac) encourages women to run for office, here in Buffalo and then beyond. WEPac gives women the tools that they need to take their interest in leadership to the next level.
“We give women the tools and knowledge so they are inspired to say, “YES, I want to run for office!” – Diana Cihak, Founder
