Kids love trains. Actually, there are a lot of adults that love trains too. That’s why the Buffalo History Museum dedicates one day of the year to people who love trains. For 20 years train aficionados have been visiting the museum’s incredible display of operating 1900s replica model trains.
This is the perfect place to take any child who has a fascination for these larger than life, scaled down models, with 200 feet of track and landscapes that include a scale Erie Canal lock and 100 miniature buildings that portray Buffalo in the 19th century. How cool is that?
Besides the model trains, there will be train-themed crafts, letters to Santa delivered by train, scavenger hunts, and live music by the Rail Barons Band.
What’s Santa’s favorite scale railway? HO… ho, ho!
