Earlier this month, Harborside CrossFit opened at 340 Seneca Street in Buffalo, just down the street from Chef’s Restaurant, and in close proximity to Larkinville and Canalside.
Owners, Josh Makar, Lindsey Phillips and Jeff Bavisotto have set up shop in a wonderful old building, creating a fitness center that they feel is timed perfectly with the rebirth of the waterfront. The cross fit gym is ideally located for office workers in Downtown Buffalo, and many of the new loft dwellers that reside nearby. The personal trainers have a wealth of experience, and are passionate about their objective – to get Buffalonians in the best shape possible. The owners’ combined cross fit training instruction experience at the Buffalo Athletic Club (see bios, and photos below) has prepared them to create their own tailored programs for a wide variety of clients, regardless of age, sex, health, goals, etc.
Whether you are looking to enhance specific aspects of your body, or are looking for an overall cross fit training regimen, the pros at Harborside can help you achieve your goals in cardiovascular endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. Or they can simply help to get you off the couch and into a healthy routine where you feel comfortable with your body, and the direction that it’s going. It’s simply a matter of getting started, and then taking your mind, spirit and body to the next level.
“This team of fitness pros truly exude persistence, commitment and willpower, to say the least.” – Alyssa Phillips
