Chances are, if you are not a member of the Saturn Club, that you have never been inside the Saturn Club. And unless you’re invited by a guest, you probably won’t get a chance to visit the club. In an unusual twist, the Elmwood Village Association (EVA) is hosting a fundraiser at The Saturn Club as part of its ‘We’re Turning 21!’ party.
Unfortunately, the annual Mass Appeal event has been shelved for now, which means that the EVA is coming up with some new and unusual fundraising events. Fortunately, for anyone who has ever wanted to step inside the Tudor Revival structure designed by the local architectural firm of Bley & Lyman (circa 1922), this is one of the best chances that you will get. “This event marks the end of our 20th anniversary year, and we want to celebrate with everyone who has supported the community and who helps to make it what it is,” said EVA Executive Director Carly Battin. “DJ Milk will provide the entertainment, and Cantina Loco, SATO, and Savoy will be mixing custom cocktails. EV boutiques are providing items for auction, and all proceeds benefit the EVA.”
