Every holiday season a number of incredible shopping markets appear throughout the city. One of those markets is the Queen City Market, which takes place on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 11am – 5pm at the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum: Porter Hall. The event is free and open to the public, and features a wide mix of crafts made by local artisans. It also has a number of vintage sellers, which makes the market truly unique. To add to the shopping experience, Amy’s Place Food Truck, Lloyd Taco Truck, and Rolling Joe Cafe will all be on-hand to keep each and every soul satiated to the fullest.
This is the fourth year that this market is taking place. Shoppers can expect to find over 5o artists and artisans under one roof, including art by Alixandra Martin, wood work by Rusted Grain, bath & body from Alpine Made, jewelry by Einat Agmon Jewelry, records from Revolver Records Inc., home decor from Kitch Studios, illustrations by Isaac Bidwell, local gluten-free baked goods by Deenie Bakes, and curated vintage decor by compostthis.
Feel free to bring non-perishable food items as donations for the Food Bank of WNY to help those in need.
