More often than not, when we talk about the local art scene, we are referring to painters, sculptors, etc. It’s important to remember the wide ranging artists that we have in Buffalo, many of whom are authors. It’s incredible to see the amount of literary works that are being published in this city.
As a way to get to know local authors a little better, the Buffalo History Museum hosts an annual book signing event, where you can come and purchase a book and get it signed by the writer. The great thing about an event of this nature is that many of the books and the authors are all at the same place at the same time, which makes it easy for you to find what you want.
On Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm, over 75 local authors will be on-hand at the Buffalo History Museum – you don’t want to miss it! The Museum Shop will also be open on that day.
