Halloween is a time for parties, trick-or-treating, scary movies and pumpkin carving. It’s a scary, fun and creative time, where dressing up and going out is as interesting as staying home to see who shows up at your front door. For some people, the celebration starts as early as possible and then lasts until the stash of candy dries up. I’m referring to the little ones of course. The kids love to milk Halloween for all its worth. For the parents, it’s always once to see new Halloween costumes get put to good use more than once.
On Wednesday, October 29, 2014, The Buffalo Museum of Science invites you to bring the kids along to participate in a slightly spooky event that is being billed as All Hallows’ Eve. For the youngsters, it’s a chance to paint some pumpkins, participate in a trick-or-treat scavenger hunt, and even watch a “scary” movie while live pipe organ music is being played by Joe Donahue (in the auditorium). There’s even a huge model train on display to add interest to the evening, which runs from 6-8pm.
For $5 kids get to eat snacks, enjoy refreshments, and walk around a well-organized event at a mysterious museum that includes plenty of photo-ops and supernatural surprises. Costumes are encouraged.
