It’s time to prepare yourself for 464 Gallery’s annual MONSTER event.
For the fourth consecutive year, 464 will showcase two floors of multi-media art designed to test your fears and rouse your senses. The evening features live art making, DJs, installation art and dancing. It’s an all out art bash focused around the works of some of the area’s most thought provoking creators, including Bill Battaglia, Melissa Buckley, Jessica Gadra, john Harrigan, Veronica Kruger, Craig LaRotonda, Marissa Lehner, Chris Main, Alicia Malik, Thomas Matyas, Ryan Mis, Fred Mount, Deborah Petronio, Tara Sasiadek, Carl Schifano, Joseph Stanek, David Tarsa, Ronald Theel, Dana Tyrell, Angela Wisniewski, and Jim Wojcik.
The works at monster are designed to stir up inner feelings of fear, while the rest of the show’s antics revolve around outward expressions of mayhem brought to you by artists Thomas Webb and Chuck Tingley (live art demonstrations) and Queen City Cartel’s cast of DJs that include Brother Bear, K-Rog, Rufus Gibson and Lesionread.
Drinks will be served by the gallery, and food will be provided by Lloyd Taco trucks (8pm-10pm). There will also be a costume contest ($100 gift certificate good for art and gifts at the gallery – must be present to win).
This event is free and open to the public.
