The annual Paint the Town event, hosted at The Buffalo History Museum, is one of the best ways to acquire original artwork from some of this city’s premiere artists. Guests are invited to participate in live and silent auctions, featuring works by over 50 artists.
Paint the Town is a social affair that gives attendees the chance to mingle, enjoy cocktails, and peruse the works of art before the auctions begin. This year there will also be a Clothesline Gallery added to the mix, which allows art enthusiasts to pick up smaller unframed works at set prices. Proceeds from the event benefit both the artists and The Buffalo History Museum.
To date, some of the participating artists include: Peter Ahrens, Jackie Albarella, Paul Alico, Mary Beth Bartlett, Anna Boccio, Mary Ellen Bossert, Marlene Coles, Justin W. Dahl, Joanna Dicker-Bachman, Simon Faber, Deborah Hill, Richard Kersting, Chuck LaChiusa, Elizabeth Leader, Ingrid Luongo, Grace Meibohn, uRobert Masak, Kaaren Metcalf, Diane Meyer, Coni Minneci, John O’Reilly, Nancy Parisi, Russell Ram, Frank Reppenhagen, Kath Schifano, DeEtta Silvestro, Carol Siracuse, Bernice Smith, Greg Tranter, Carmen Wrzos, Mike Wickham, Peter Fowler, Martha Marlette, Monica Angle, Dennis Bertram, Veronica Federiconi, Peter Fowler, Deborah R.
