If you’re a fan of trivia, and you are fond of Buffalo architecture, then you might want to put on your sleuth cap and attend an architectural treasure hunt being organized by Explore Buffalo.
The treasure hunt is called “Architectural Pursuit”, which takes place on Saturday, October 11, 2014 starting at 12:30pm.
Participants will meet up at the Mural Room of the Lafayette Hotel, 391 Washington Street in Downtown Buffalo. From there they will set out on foot (no cars or bikes) on a three hour architectural scavenger hunt that will also incorporate a Social Media Challenge (so be sure to bring your phones along.)
After the hunt is over, participants will reconvene at the hotel where the points will be added up and the winning team will be declared. From there everyone is invited to attend a post hunt party with Buffalo-style food (also in the Mural Room).
Architectural Pursuit is $30 per person, and reservations are required. For more information, check out explorebuffalo.org or call 716-245-3032.
Explore Buffalo also offers a number of other tours in Buffalo, including Buffalo Classics, Masters of American Architecture, Five Presidents in Buffalo, or Mobsters, Murder & Mayhem
