For the eighth year running, some of Buffalo’s most talented amateur chefs will be creating signature dishes at an event that raises money for Crisis Services. The event is called Men Who Cook. The intention is to let these food dynamos loose in the kitchen, so that they can prepare meals for upwards of 400 guests. These are guys in your neighborhood, who work in your community. They are as follows:
Dan Barrett, Buffalo Police Department
Anthony Billittier, D’Youville College
Jake Brach, Rich Products
Brian Brault, Pure Solutions
Mark Gardner
Tim Herzog, Flying Bison Brewing Company
Jeff Hirschfelt, Olmsted Center
Dan Kieffer, Coldwell Banker Chubb
Jim Kuryak, Niagara National Insurance
Lt. Dave Mann, Buffalo Police Department
Jeff Pirrone, The John R. Oishei Foundation Basic Human Needs Initiative
Father Paul Seil, Our Daily Bread
Chris Spicer, Planned Parenthood
Dave Zak, Cheektowaga Police Chief
A support network of restaurants is also part of the fundraiser, lending their talents and their work acumen to the dining gala. The restaurants involved in this year’s event are:
The Left Bank
The Black Sheep
Joe’s Deli
