A Mediterranean restaurant is joining Marco’s Italian Deli in the Genesee Gateway complex. Natalie’s Mediterranean Eatery will open a 1,000 sq.ft. breakfast and lunch destination this fall.
Natalie’s, known for their homemade soups and salads and vegetarian options, has operated from its Millersport Highway in Amherst location for 13 years. They are taking many of their popular menu items downtown, and are adding a new breakfast menu that includes bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and traditional Mediterranean breakfast wraps.
“The Genesee Gateway building has been beautifully restored, and is situated perfectly between Downtown, the Medical Campus, and close to Larkinville,” said CBRE|Buffalo Sales Associate Maggie Hamilton, who brokered the deal. “Natalie’s will be able to embrace the increasing foot traffic in this corridor as well as provide delivery and catering to the entire area.”
The Genesee Street/500 Block of Main Street area will see a number of restaurant opening in coming months including Dog é Style, Oshun, Raclette’s, and D’Avolio’s Kitchen. Last week, the Buffalo Preservation Board signed-off on plans to construct a kitchen addition at Eddie Brady’s.
