The next Reading Invasion event will take place at the Outer Harbor this Sunday. One of the city’s newest waterfront destinations, Wilkeson Pointe, is the perfect setting for just such as read-in. From the wind sculptures and slides to the grassy mounds and the beach, this waterfront park just can’t be beat. In fact, the crew that put this park together should be brought on-board to tackle LaSalle Park. But I digress…
On Sunday, August 3, it’s all about the reading. Bring your friends, your family, a blanket and a picnic and take in the surroundings as you embark upon your imaginative travels.
Reading Invasion takes place between 4pm-5pm.
“The Reading Invasions are a celebration our vibrant Buffalo literary life, our magnificent public spaces, and our strong community connections. It is also meant to be a space to share with the next generation just how important reading is in our society.” – Buffalo Reading Invasion
