If you’re a proponent of seeing the Outer Harbor transformed into park-oriented land, helping to connect Time Beach nature preserve and Tifft Nature Preserve, then you will want to attend a viewing of eight potential land-use models on August 15, 2014. The models were dreamed up by University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning graduate students, to show how the momentum of current park space can be capitalized upon.
Professor Sean Burkholder’s Architecture Design Studio 6 class will present the works at Hallwalls Contemporary Art Center (341 Delaware Avenue). The reception starts at 5pm. For more information, visit the Facebook event or email: 21stcenturypark@gmail.com.
Presented by the 21st Century Park – Outer Harbor Park. See event site and details. Also see high resolution PDF of the 21st Century Park rendering (click here).
