Buffalo Brewfest is heading to a new location for 2014.
After a successful run at the First Niagara Center, the event will now be held outside as a street festival. The site will encompass part of the Cobblestone District (closing down Illinois Street) in order to take advantage of the Buffalo summer weather and the historic vibe of the district.
“So much is happening in the Cobblestone District and the area around it like Canalside and HARBORCENTER, we thought it would be a natural fit to host the Buffalo Brewfest here,” commented Sam Savarino, event co-chairman. “People attending the Buffalo Brewfest can sample great craft beer and get a flavor for how much fun the Cobblestone District and surround neighborhood offers.”
The festival will feature 50 craft beers by local and regional craft brewers, as well as live music provided by Buffalo Iron Works.
