You are invited to attend a groovy party on wheels if you think that you still have what it takes to be a roller king or queen. Check it…
The West Side Rolls Over To The East Side in a Skate Jam
Have you ever thrown on a pair of roller skates and done some laps at Skateland on East Ferry? No? Well, what are you waiting for? Now is your chance to get down with some of Buffalo’s most prolific grassroots activists – People United for Sustainable Housing (PUSH Buffalo) and The WASH Project.
Grab your favorite throwback outfit, or any outfit for that matter, and bounce your way over to Skateland. Dress up or dress down – just get your butt to skateland for a tun of fun with some fine fashioned folks. “There are no bouts or anything to fret over – just rollerskating to well curated, dj’d classic, old school music all night with great food from West Side Bazaar, that’s it. It’s the best location in town to get East-West et al together for a good time, all ages, inclusive, everybody!” said Barrett Gordon of The WASH Project.”
