On Fridays June 20 and Saturday June 21, buffaBLOG, Buffalo’s local music blog, will be organizing a pretty cool festival in Allentown, showcasing the music talents of Buffalo’s best and brightest in the industry.
There are a couple of different angles that make Herd Fest so special. First is the collaborative effort to bring the festival to the table – curators of the festival are The Good Neighborhood, Quiet Country Audio, Harvestsum, Steak and Cake, Only Comrades, Sugar City, and buffaBLOG.
Then, I love to see that a number of Allentown (and beyond) venues are onboard with Herd Fest – Duke’s, Nietzsche’s, College Street Gallery, Allen St. Hardware, Black Dots, and Spiral Scratch Records. So basically we’re got heavy hitters in the local music scene teaming up for the inaugural two-day festival, and that’s good news for Buffalo bands and the places that support them. Here’s the entire schedule that was recently released:
Presale, all access bracelets are available for $20 in advance at the blog’s Big Cartel page – buffaBLOG. Entry will be $5 at the door at each venue the night of otherwise. Also see Facebook.
