Buffalo River Fest Park is the first one out of the gates to announce its summer concert line-up beginning in June. This summer the acts range from local favorites Crash Cadillac to the area’s premier pop rock band Wide Right.
Considering all of the action across the Buffalo River with Riverworks (in the works), and the recent ground breaking of the Ohio Street corridor (linking the Inner and Outer Harbors), River Fest Park is positioned to be the epicenter of activity for years to come. Not to mention all of the nearby opportunities for kayaking and biking – be sure to bring a picnic blanket along, and you can leave your coolers at home because there is plenty of beer for sale on the grounds (and coolers are not allowed anyways). Here’s to a great summer at River Fest Park…
*A rain date is scheduled for September 3rd. In addition to the Wednesday concert series, Buffalo River Fest Park will also serve as the location for the 3rd annual “Wardstock” festival on Saturday, August 2nd and the “Halfway to St. Patty’s Day Party” on Friday, September 5th. Both events will feature live entertainment and are free to attend.
Buffalo River Fest Park is located at 249 Ohio Street, Buffalo, NY 14204. Parking is free and widely available. No personal coolers are allowed at the park; however, refreshments are available for purchase, with proceeds supporting park maintenance and other riverfront development efforts. Lawn chairs recommended. Rain will force concert cancellations, so check our Facebook page for updates.
