It’s time to help with the spring clean-up efforts in the city. Each district usually has a program that brings the community together to pitch in. Elmwood Avenue has been leading the way in this department for years, thanks to the help of the Elmwood Village Association (EVA) – the organization that breaks the cleanup effort into bite-size parcels. Here’s the upcoming cleanup schedule for Elmwood:
Monday, April 21st:
Clean-up Elmwood Avenue between Iroquois Drive and Bird Avenue from 4-6:00p.m. with a community happy hour to follow at Mr. Goodbar from 6:00-7:00pm. Meet at the EVA Office at 4:00pm.
Tuesday, April 22nd:
Clean up Elmwood Avenue between Bird and Delevan Avenue from 5:30-7:00p.m. with a community happy hour to follow at Caffe Aroma from 7:00-8:00pm. Meet at the corner of Elmwood & Potomac Avenue at 5:30pm.
Wednesday, April 23rd:
Clean up Elmwood Avenue between Summer St and Allen St from 4:00-5:30p.m. with a community happy hour to follow at Savoy from 5:30-7:00pm. Meet at the corner of Elmwood & North St at 4:00pm.
Thursday, April 24th:
Clean up Elmwood Avenue between W. Ferry St. and Lexington Avenue from 2-4:00p.m. with a community happy hour to follow at Joe’s Deli from 4-5:00pm. Meet at the corner of Elmwood & Highland Avenue at 2:00pm.
Friday, April 25th:
Clean up Elmwood Avenue between Delevan Avenue and W. Ferry Street from 5:30-7:00p.m. with a community happy hour to follow from 7:00-8:00pm at Agave. Meet at the corner of Lafayette and Elmwood Avenue at 5:30pm.
Saturday, April 26th:
Clean up Elmwood Avenue between Lexington Ave and Summer Street from 9:30-11:30am with a community happy hour to follow at Thirsty Buffalo. Meet at the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Anderson Pl at 9:30am.
