Tomorrow is the big day, when the North Park Theatre reopens its doors to show the city that it has got what it takes to be a premiere movie house in the city of Buffalo. After months of uncovering hidden architectural beauty, thus restoring the majestic building in as many ways possible (with more to come), North Park is once again a shining anchor cinema on Hertel Avenue.
Now it’s time to do our part. Pay a visit to this fabulous work of architecture in North Buffalo, and catch an upcoming show in the process.
Here’s the line-up, as presented by North Park Theatre:
March 7th Girl on a Bicycle, written and directed by Jeremy Leven, screenwriter of “The Notebook”.
March 14th the BUFFALO PREMIERE of Better Living Through Chemistry, starring Sam Rockwell and Olivia Wilde
March 21st, take a road trip through the French countryside with Catherine Deneuve in On My Way.
April 4th – Child’s Pose. Winner of the Golden Bear prize at the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival – an intense Romanian noir examining an obsessive mother’s love.
