Two of Buffalo’s largest developers are busy transforming downtown. A good portion of the Delaware Court building has been reduced to rubble preparing for a 12-story replacement building at the northwest corner of Delaware Avenue and Chippewa Street. Uniland Development Company’s 250 Delaware Avenue will feature 204,000 sq.ft of office space, a 120 room hotel, 10,000 sq.ft. of retail space, and 380 parking spaces in a four-level ramp. The building will be the new headquarters for Delaware North Cos.

On the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, Ciminelli Real Estate has four floors framed at Conventus located at Main and High streets. The seven-story building will be connected to both the new Women’s and Children’s hospital and the new UB Medical School. Women and Children’s Hospital outpatient surgery center, UBMD, and a biomedical research facility anchored by Albany Molecular Research, Inc. (AMRI) have leased a significant portion of the 350,000 sq.ft. building.
