This event might be the only way that you will get to the top of Buffalo’s tallest building for a while (or inside at all for that matter).
The Fight For Air Climb is the ultimate stair climber – an event that positions you against the forces of a never ending staircase. It’s hard enough to leisurely climb a staircase to the top of a city’s tallest building, let alone race up it. But that’s what you’re expected to do in this crazy leg burner.
Actually, you can also walk up the 38 flights if that’s what it takes… your legs will still feel the pain the next day. In the end, what’s a little pain when you know that you are helping to benefit the American Lung Association of the Northeast? Participants are asked to raise money for the organization by getting friends and family to sponsor their trek to the top of One Seneca Tower.
This is the fourth year of the climb at the building now known as One Seneca Tower. Fight for Air Climb: Buffalo is a fundraising event to benefit the American Lung Association of the Northeast. Saturday, March 8, 2014.
You don’t have to be a firefighter… you just need to believe in the importance of clean air and healthy lungs!
