For 12 years CEPA Gallery has been hosting a benefit art auction that features art donations from some of the most celebrated artists in the business. In fact, over 80 artists are featured at this much-celebrated biennial event, including works by Cindy Sherman, Reed Anderson, Charles Clough, Milton Rogovin, William Wegman, John Pfahl, Ellen Carey, Alice O’Malley, Julian Montague, Justine Kurland, David Levinthal and Martin Kruck.
While the main event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 26, 2014, interested bidders are invited to preview the works that will be featured from Saturday, March 29 through auction day. Billed as the only professional art auction in Western New York, CEPA’s 2014 Benefit Art Auction is not to be missed! Save the date on your calendar, and follow on Facebook for further details. Throughout the auction, CEPA’s 3rd floor Passageway Gallery will play host to a collection of miniatures by the late Milton Rogovin (1909-2011).
This is CEPA’s 40th year as a cultural institution in Buffalo – the gallery recently merged with another crucial cultural partner, Big Orbit Gallery.
