On Tuesday, January 21, Delaware District Council Member Michael LoCurto will host a public meeting regarding the proposed development at 770 Elmwood Ave. Representatives of The Benchmark Group and the project architect Karl Frizlen will present a revised design for the façade of the building in advance of seeking Planning Board approval. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Buffalo History Museum.
The three-story mixed-use building with retail space along Elmwood and 24 apartments on the upper floors would be built on a surface parking lot located between Globe Market and 7-11.
Amherst-based Benchmark owns a number of area commercial and residential properties including the Stuyvesant Plaza on Elmwood at North and the retail building housing Spot Coffee and Panera Bread across from the site at 765 Elmwood.
