Where can you find a gallery, located in Downtown Buffalo that is home to 43 artists, all of whom have learning disabilities? Starlight Studio and Art Gallery of course! Over the years, the studio/gallery has given artistic opportunities to countless individuals who thrive at learning and creating when given the ideal environment. The gallery is beautiful, and so are the people who populate it. For them, the opportunity to create, and even sell their work is a dream come true.
This Friday, December 13th from 6-9PM, Starlight will host their annual winter show that celebrates winter and the holidays. Check your calendars and bring some friends along to a holiday show unlike no other in Buffalo.
A purchase of any artwork goes towards supporting the studio/gallery/artists, and this year there are some extra special surprises waiting for you, including a visit from Amy’s Food Truck that specializes in delicious vegan and vegetarian offerings. Inside the gallery, there will be chocolate and cheese tastings provided by Park Edge Sweet Shoppe and Nickel City Cheese and Mercantile. You can even purchase some of the gourmet treats to go! But first, sit back and enjoy some poetry and music from Birdiecree and Bill Smith of Ten Cent Howl.
Shake off the Winter Blues… or if you’re a big fan of winter, as so many are, bring some of that holiday cheer along with you!
Friday, December 13th from 6-9PM | 340 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, New York 14202 | (716) 842-1525
