Chow Chocolat has officially opened in the basement of the Horsefeathers Building on Connecticut Street. After bouncing around the city for a while, the chocolatiers look as if they have found a good fit for their hand crafted chocolates and sweets. As a last minute gift to bring to a holiday get-together, you just can’t beat bringing some sort of treat to add the table. In this case, Chow Chocolat has come up with a fantastic twist on the candy cane. It’s a bag of peppermint bark for $7. The candy satisfies the most discerning lovers of chocolatey sweets and cool minty goodness. This is just one of the in-house made chocolate and candy surprises that the shoppe has in store for you. Other selections range from sipping chocolate to flavored cocoas, to daily specials (parfait, cheesecake, salted caramel sauce, etc.)
The best thing about Chow Chocolat is that you never know what the owners will have in store for you. But you can be that up until Christmas Day they will have the peppermint bark on hand.
