I thought I would share with you a simple graph I created which shows the 6 NFL regular season game(s) attendance at Rogers Centre since 2008.
The graph also shows two lines in the horizontal (no slope). One line depicts Rogers Centre Football Capacity (Luxury Suites Not Included: 46,470), and the other is of Football Capacity (53,506).
Admittedly, I got the game attendance from Wikipedia.
However, the numbers look like they add up according to pro-football-reference.com.
Attendance for this past game was 38,969 (this is according to Tim Graham’s twitter feed).
Also, Toronto Argos attendance is one of the worst (if not the worst) in the entire CFL. Didn’t they win a Grey Cup recently? Isn’t the population of Toronto over 2 million? I don’t think people can reasonably make an argument for an NFL team by expansion or relocation to Toronto.
