On Saturday, October 12, 2013, from 7pm-10pm, you are invited to head up to the rooftop of the Tri-Main building for a one of a kind, interactive ‘heavenly’ experience. One of Buffalo’s own intergalactic treasures, TEDxBuffalo presenter Alan Friedman of Great Arrow Graphics, will be on hand to open your eyes to the night time skies like you have never seen them before. Witness close ups of the first quarter moon and Venus, through hands-on telescope views along with an exhibition of Alan’s full-disk solar images that have attractive so much acclaim as of late. If you’re familiar with Alan’s astronomic imagery, then you understand that we have a superstar in our midst when it comes to capturing the celestial skies.
