Last Silo Fleas of the Season

Tomorrow is the last hurrah for Silo Fleas this year. Operator Scott O’Connor tells me that the sellers will be amped to make this the best flea yet, until the season kicks off again next spring of course. “It was fantastic this summer,” said Scott. “We had a great group of vendors. It’s the coolest Sunday in the city. For a first year effort it went really well. I would say that many of the people that visited the flea at Silo City had never seen the silos up close. Then there were others who were familiar with the site through Boom Days and City of Nite… it’s getting kind of popular down here. The first timers walk around the site like they’re tourists in NYC… everyone’s looking up at the sky checking out the giant silos. Tomorrow we should have beautiful weather to wrap up the season. There will be about 25 vendors if all goes according to plan, which would be our largest showing yet.”

They are amazing to see up close. You can also go inside to see the art exhibits. Take a trip down there if you can. You won't be disappointed.
