Allentown Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine has a new home. The medical practice has moved into a historic building located at 560 Franklin Street. The building was at one time the home of St. Mary’s Seminary and later Empire State College. The reception area occupies the former gymnasium space.
Sinatra and Company Real Estate purchased 556- 564 Franklin Street in November 2012 for $1.29 million. The three buildings, totaling nearly 31,000 sq.ft. of space, contain a mix of offices and apartments. Allentown Pediatric occupies approximately one-third of 560 Franklin Street. The building interior is a mix of old and new. Hardwood floors were restored and particular attention was paid to repairing original windows.
Lamparelli Construction was the general contractor, Michael Poczkalski from Room did the interior design along with Dr. Daryl Ehlenfield, a partner in Allentown Pediatrics. Nick Sinatra and Matt Connors of Sinatra and Company oversaw the project.
Allentown Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine has been providing pediatric care in the Allentown district of Buffalo since 2003. It had previously been located on Virginia Place.
