You’re going to have to pardon my fascination with Buffalo SkyCam videos. Like our Sounds of Buffalo series, I think that I’m going to feel compelled to post some new ones as they come out, even though the one that you see here is a different take on another Niagara Falls quad-copter video that I posted a couple of weeks ago. That said, there is a point about three quarters through this video where the copter looks as if it’s going to actually land on the water as it pours of the face of the falls. I have a feeling that we’re going to see plenty of throw downs in coming years, as pilots attempt to capture the most mesmerizing shots possible. In this particular video, I was looking to see if I could spot any fish falling over the edge… it was that close.
Then, heading back to Buffalo, the quad copter takes to the skies at the Richardson-Olmsted Complex and The Central Terminal. More incredible shots from high above, as the copter gets up close and personal with the Mini Cooper car as it hangs from the side of the terminal. And the Richardson Towers are even more impressive, as the video camera literally swoops in-between the two towers. Looks like a great spot for a sun deck up there!
It’s so refreshing to see these different perspectives that change the way we view our city. Thanks to Tim Teach at Buffalo SkyCam for keeping the ‘reels’ rolling, and bringing us all along for the ride.
