With the permanent casino now open, the ‘temporary’ casino shed at Michigan and Perry Street is being demolished. The expanded Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino will hold its official grand opening August 27. The new facility doubles the amount of slot machines, adds a restaurant and bar, and saw the construction of a four-story, 715-car parking ramp.
Work started on the $130 million “permanent” casino last summer. The Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino opened in 2007 and was expanded in 2010.
The blue metal building that is being torn down today will be replaced by an entry plaza and valet parking lot.
