Blue Monk is a Great American Beer Bar in Buffalo, NY

Some members of the Buffalo craft beer community have reached out to let us know that CraftBeer.com is looking for readers to place their votes when it comes to a certain Great American Beer Bar in Buffalo. In the past, Blue Monk has made the list of top ten beer bars in the Northeast, and with a little help from our friends, we believe that we can get the Buffalo craft beer destination into the top bracket once again, this time on another highly regarded beer publication. “This voting is important obviously for Blue Monk to be more recognized on a national level,” said Blue Monk owner Mike Shatzel. “But also to the local breweries that are looking to make a regional and national splash. It will help make Buffalo a viable option in craft beer travel.”

Voting takes five seconds and you don’t even have to sign in, give your email address or any other information for that matter. Also, this is not just about one bar, it’s about Buffalo being represented proper. We’re in the midst of reclaiming our brewery and beer heritage, and a top ten listing on a site like CraftBeer.com goes a long way towards attracting beer aficionados to our doorstep. On top of that, Blue Monk deserves the nomination and the claim to fame, so you can feel good about casting your vote. The fact that the establishment has made it this far already phenomenal – representing the Northeast Region and all. Now lets boost them all the way to one of the top American Beer Bars in the country!
