If art is ageless, and timeless, then there’s no better time to start appreciating some of the world’s most recognized and respected artists than when still in the stroller. At least that’s what the Albright-Knox has in mind with its programming event called Art Baby Stroller Tour, held earlier today. The tour is limited to eight children, but there are plenty of chances to jump onboard in the future.
The Art Baby Stroller Tour takes pace the 1st Wednesday of every month. I’m sure that as word gets out this tour will fill up fast. After all, this is the type of parent-child bonding experience that is appreciated by all parties. To children the artwork must appear spellbinding in its appearance, and for parents this is a great refresher as to the world-renowned bounty that we have in Buffalo.
Many people believe that exposure to artwork and music at an early age helps to cultivate an appreciation for culture down the road. Plus, the idea of welcoming a fleet of strollers anywhere must be music to the ears of parents who are in search of new opportunities to bond with their kids… and hopefully have their kids bond with world class modern and contemporary art. It’s also a great way to meet other families in the area who have an appreciation for the arts.
Now can we get some of those Elmwood dads with the tattoo sleeves and strollers to jump onboard with this program?
