During the summer you can find an outdoor music series on just about every night of the week. Whether you want to head to the Inner or Outer Harbors, Larkinville or RiverFest Park, chances are that there is a music scene that suits your taste.
For many, the laid back atmosphere of the family-friendly Concert Series at Bidwell is all they need to satisfy a music fix. Located right on an Olmsted Parkway, in the heart of the Elmwood Village, the concert series is a fun neighborhood affair that draws music fans to a relaxed picnic-setting to hear local acts perform. “The Picnic in the Parkway concert series is one of the great summer traditions here in the Elmwood Village,” said Elmwood Village Association Executive Director Carly Battin. “We’ve got a stellar lineup of local musicians this year, and are particularly excited that the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will return to Bidwell to kick off the series.”
