It doesn’t seem that long ago that we were talking about getting an artisan market off the ground at the waterfront. Can you believe that this will be the second summer that the market series will be held at The Wharf at Canalside? Not only are there myriad artists and artisans that congregate at the waterfront to display their works, on market days there is also a music and dance tent – my how these events tend to escalate. And thanks to the latest permitting regulations that were just updated, food trucks are finally allowed to roll into Canalside, which means that visitors will have even more culinary options to choose from.
Saturday Artisan Market season will be kicking off this weekend, on Saturday, May 18th, 2013. The market will be held the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of each month, through September (see Facebook). Market is from 10am to 5pm.
