Statler City is hosting the first annual Valentine’s Day Dinner Dance with great food, dancing and big-band style music for an all-inclusive price on Friday, February 15. The event for 500 guests will be held in Statler City’s stunning Golden Ballroom. Clarinetist Sal Andolina and his BPO Big Band with vocals by Nick Battistella will provide the evening’s entertainment.
“We’re bringing back the big band era to the historic Statler,” says Statler City CEO Mark D. Croce. “It promises to be a great event.”
The dress-up affair begins at 6:00 PM next Friday. Dinner and music start at 7:30. The $99/person tickets include appetizers, red and white wines, 3 course dinner with an entree trio, coffee,tea and dessert. Free parking is provided in the Turner Ramp next to City Hall. Coat Check, sales tax and service charge are all included as well. Valet service will also be available. The first 200 tickets sold include a FREE $25 Buffalo Chophouse gift certificate and a FREE $10 bar tab for the Statler City Lobby Bar.
The Dinner Dance will be one of hundreds of events that have taken place at Statler City over the past 15 months.
“Statler City’s rapid growth is far exceeding my expectations,” says Croce. “Like other recent developments downtown, it’s giving people a reason to get back downtown.”
With multiple spaces ranging from charming meeting rooms to the Golden Ballroom that can seat up to 700 guests for weddings and corporate functions, Statler City has been buzzing with activity with up to six unique events at one time.
Two other significant events are scheduled for later this month. On February 22, Statler City is hosting a Linked Up party sponsored by the Entercom Radio Group. This popular singles and networking event starts at 6:00 PM. There will be games and giveaway prizes throughout the night. Finger foods will be served from 7 PM until 9 PM. Pre-sale tickets are only $15, and $25 at the door. Tickets can be purchased on-line at statlercity.com.
Later that same evening, Statler City is welcoming Electronic Dance Music’s Alvin Risk. Singer and producer Alvin Risk’s talents have earned him instant recognition amongst EDM fans. The show at Rendezvous starts at 10:00 PM and is for ages 21+. Presale tickets are only $10 until Friday at midnight, $25 at the door.
