Cheerleading Directors Conference featuring Essence Flowers

This is the year that Buffalo is hosting the Annual NFL Cheer Directors Conference, and to pay homage to the special occasion, New Era has invited Sportswear and Swimwear designer, Essence Flowers to attend (Facebook). Essence Flowers is one of the top designers for cheerleaders outfits and swimwear in the NFL. The Buffalo Jills will be co-hosting the conference at New Era, in order to promote the world of cheerleading – this year over 13 NFL team squads will be represented. An industry-dedicated fashion show will be held at New Era headquarters so that teams will be able to see and choose outfits for next season.
Western New York native Jaime Morton Hawley is the dedicated photographer for Essence Swimwear Design Company and will be on-hand to promote the company’s 2013 swimsuit calendar. “I love working with Jaime. She captures the ‘Essence’ in my work and never fails to surprise me with her ingenuity and attention to lighting and detail that really shows what my designs are all about.  Coming to Buffalo with her is very exciting for me because not only is she my colleague, and friend, but she will be able to show me the side of Buffalo that I wouldn’t otherwise get to see… the ‘Essence’ of Buffalo – if you know what I mean,” says Ms. Flowers.
