On February 1, 2013, join thousands of people as they wear the color red in support of joining the fight to end heart disease in women. Many people are not aware that heart disease “is still women’s No. 1 killer – it affects more women than men and is more deadly than all forms of cancer combined.” Armed with that knowledge, it is important that awareness be spread, and what better way to do it than to join in on the movement?
The 10th Annual National Wear Red Day is Friday February 1, 2013.
Visit GoRedForWomen.org to learn how you can join in the fight to end heart disease in women. The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement is coming up this Friday (tomorrow). Mark your calendars, tell your friends, send an email, and help to get the word out that heart disease is a serious issue in our community and around the world.
