Most people would think that if I were to mention The Beatles and wings, without skipping a beat, that I would be referring to Paul McCartney’s band, not the chicken wing. But in this case, I am referring to the chicken wing when I tell you that The Sportsmens Tavern is hosting a show that takes the best of The Beatles and the best of Buffalo, and sprinkles in a little Japanese flare for good measure.
“All Things Beatles and Wings” features an impressive line-up of local musicians, along with Tadaki NaganuMcCartney (The Silver Beats), Tokyo Japan’s version of Paul MCartney, in a star studded tribute to the best of The Beatles. “The beautiful thing about this show (besides great musicians playing timeless songs) is the opportunity to show on stage the bond that music creates regardless of culture, age, and geographical location,” says Buffalo rock ‘n roller Geno McManus. “It also is a great example of how Buffalo not only supports it own, but also opens its doors to anyone willing to come to our town.”
Join the gang on Friday, February 1 as they take to the stage for this Beatle-icious affair. 9:30pm show. See poster for all details.
