By Freddy Daniel:
Roger George, a native of Trinidad and Tobago started singing at the age of 12. He began his vocal career singing soca and calypso, the music of the islands. When he was old enough to do so, Roger traveled all over The States and Europe, further advancing his singing career as he performed. He moved to Miami at the age of 23 where he resides now – he has an entertainment company where he provides music for local hotels and resorts in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. His wide range of vocal capabilities makes him so unique and sets him apart from a lot of vocalists you hear playing out, due to his wide range of vocals. Roger plays the harmonica and sings just about everything, from Al Green to Frank Sinatra!
Recently back from a tour in the Cayman Islands he was asked to perform in Buffalo at Central Park Grill on Main Street, and is hoping to expand his career in Buffalo. He is a native of the islands but finds the Buffalo weather to be a refreshing break from the Miami Heat! Let’s give him a warm… err… cool welcome. His performance is Thursday December 27th from 5-7 pm.
