The alt-music holiday spirit is coming to Larkinville. On Friday, December 7th, from 4:30-8pm, Larkinville will come alive (much as it did over the summer), with a fun-filled concert featuring upwards of 20 Buffalo musicians. For those of you who are familiar with the highly anticipated Robot Holiday, held in Buffalo each December, the event will be mixing it up and heading to Larkinville this season. Come listen to some of Buffalo’s best musical talents as they crank out robotic tunes for all to enjoy.
I know that the holiday season has not even kicked into high gear yet (not even close), but before you know it all of the retailers and radio stations will be cramming holiday music down our ears, eyes and throats. Robot Holiday Live intends to go against that traditional grain in a quirky way, and will feature original, non-traditional holiday tunes with a robotic spin.
The Filling Station, The Grill, and Square 1 Sandwiches will all be open to serve up seasonal specialty offerings (food and drinks) to warm the cockles of our collective heart. Just think along the lines of chili and soup, “adult” hot chocolate and cider, mulled wine, and winter craft beers… “We’re excited to carry over our summer of fun in Larkin Square with a signature event full of winter touches,” said Larkin Square Director of Fun Leslie Zemsky. “Robot Holiday’s unique and charitable collaboration is perfect for our setting, and we’re grateful for their generosity as well as that of First Niagara.”
