Mark your calendars for a shopping event that will help you to figure out your last minute shopping list. In the end, most of us wait for the last minute anyways, right? On Friday, December 14th from 4-8pm and Saturday, December 15th from 12-6pm at the Book Arts Center, shoppers will be introduced to handmade goods made right here by artists in Buffalo, NY. This is another great opportunity to buy local and support Downtown Buffalo. Your friends and family will appreciate the extra effort that you put into your shopping picks! That’s because handmade gifts are unique since they are not mass produced and sold at major retailers across the US.
The Western New York Book Arts Center is the perfect setting for such a special browsing and buying occasion. Over the course of the two days, more than 25 local artists will set up shop in order to sell their handcrafted wares. To make the shopping extravaganza even more special, each night will feature a different food truck. On Friday, stop in to try out some food at Amy’s Truck, and then on Saturday stick around for a couple of tacos served up by Lloyd Taco.
Support local artisans. Support the Western New York Book Arts Collaborative. Support Buffalo food trucks… Support Downtown Buffalo.
This event is free and open to the public.
