The Buffalo Niagara Enterprise has created a Relocation Guide that is aimed at providing people and businesses the information that they need to relocate to Buffalo. It’s also a handy tool for anyone who has recently moved to Buffalo. A 60-page PDF is available, as is a hard copy of the guide. The Buffalo manual is described as “A Comprehensive Snapshot of Buffalo Niagara’s Affordable Assets”.
People that I have spoken to have stated that they are happy to see a fairly comprehensive reference tool that showcases where to go and what to do, including day trips and a breakdown of myriad towns and villages.
Now there’s a moving checklist, renting and leasing information, a list of home builders, info on schools and voter registration, dining, the arts and cultural scene, shopping, parks, waterfront, the business climate, jobs, etc.
Hopefully people will send this PDF to friends and family who are need of that small push to get them thinking about moving back home. Landing a couple of small companies would also be nice. As the city continues to turn the corner, potential businesses should be taking a close look at Buffalo. After all, one of the biggest criteria is quality of life for employees, and we all know that we have that (details here).
