Now that The Statler is open we should start seeing a whole slew of events being held there. There is one event in particular that people should keep their eyes on, and that’s the Taste of Culinary. Being held in the Golden Ballroom, the annual affair boasts some of Greater Buffalo’s top culinary talents, including Chef James Roberts of the Park Country Club (winner in the Nickel City Chef competition) and Chef Steve Gedra from Bistro Europa (one of the most progressive restaurants in the city). All in all, there will be more than 35 restaurant chefs along with five local culinary schools representing. To top it off, regional wineries and entertainers will also be on hand.
Here are all of the details:
Hailed as “The best foodie festival in Buffalo!” The Taste of the Culinary (TOC) is Sunday March 25th from12:00pm – 3:30pm
Live music and entertainment will be provided by the local musical group EZ3. You may also bid on the auctions of a Chef for a Day and fabulous Gourmet Gift Baskets. This event sells out every year, so we encourage foodies everywhere to go online for tickets to tasteofculinary.com. The cost is only $30 per person for all these marvelous foods and delicious drinks. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the ACF’s Chef & Child Foundation, which seeks to educate children about nutrition and support the fight against childhood obesity.
