Not only are people going to want the Buffalo Maritime Center logo as a bumper sticker (I dig the logo), they may even want one of their boats. Some of the most lovingly restored and handcrafted small watercraft will be available (for sale) starting tomorrow from 5pm-9pm. This an excellent chance to see the collection up close and in person… it is also a unique opportunity to learn about the incredible organization and its programs. Heck, you may just walk away with a prized sail or motorboat.
Join John Montague and friends as they discuss what it takes to bring a classic boat back to life. Or take a walk down memory lane – when the Buffalo harbor was full of all sorts of commercial and private crafts… even water taxis! This is an open house unlike any other. If you’re a boat lover or have expressed an interest in Buffalo’s waterfront (past and present), then this is an event that is not to be missed.
