Steep yourself in Azar Nafisi‘s work and culture before her March visit.
On Monday, February 22nd, at 7 PM, Just Buffalo Literary Center will host a Nafisi book discussion at Betty’s, led by poet David Landrey, author of Consciousness Suite, and Professor Emeritus at Buffalo State College.
The discussion will center on Reading Lolita in Tehran: A Memoir in Books, by Azar Nafisi, who will be in town on March 5th for an event sponsored by Just Buffalo and the International Institute of Buffalo (IIB). Kick off the Nafisi-centric events this Friday, February 5th, by attending the pre-visit celebration at IIB, where you’ll be treated to Middle Eastern music, culture, and food.
